Whether you Skype, MSN, or whatever else that requires a webcam, you want a good webcam right? Well, I have the best one I have owned right on top of my monitor right now. The Microsoft LifeCam webcam. Now, heres the review!

Specs:
  • 720p HD widescreen; 30 FPS
  • Auto Focus
  • Digital Microphone
  • Windows Live Call Button
  • Flexible Stand
  • Wide Angle Lens

In my opinion, this is the best webcam I have come across in a while. The lens is crystal clear, the sound is great and the simplicity is great. It has a super easy setup and is ready to use out of the box(Windows 7), and comes with a disk. The software that comes with it allows you to minulapte the effects of the webcam and video. You can shoot high def video and stills with a click of a button and overall, just a nice piece of my tech world. The only downsides I can find is trying to shoot a still in HD, there is a little of a lag, and the other is the price. I paid 70$ for it, but it's a nice camera. It is just an overall nice webcam, and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

Overall Score: 9.5/10
Total: 9.5/10 or A+

I own this webcam and I love it!

Wow, I really need to get some sleep.. That's not too bad, especially for 720P. I might look into one if they even stock them out here :gunsmilie:

Seems more than worth it for a tiny webcam versus a normal camera/recorder :gunsmilie:

Might want to bold the price and move it under the score area in the post, I almost missed it :gunsmilie:

Looks like a good camera. I just can't imagine I'd ever use a webcam though.

Could also use it to record vlogs or whatever ;)

Not real big on those sorts of things, though I've thought about it. I came to the conclusion that if I ever started doing them I should use my iPod :gunsmilie:
